After 6 months of preparation and intensive research, ACIMEX has been rewarded with this certification, which rates quality within the company.
The organisation AB certification has awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification to ACIMEX. This is a successful first attempt following a certification audit performed at the end of January 2016. Indeed, not a foot was put wrong, as there was not a single major or minor non-conformity – merely a few remarks which were swiftly dealt with.
To help it on its way to success, ACIMEX called on QCD Consulting,a quality management and consultancy firm. Six months of hard work leaving no stone unturned were necessary – interspersed with training sessions for all Acimex staff: roleplay for grasping the stakes of continual improvement for a company and a few rules of thumb – “never be afraid to admit we got it wrong”. Quality also means “being able to put our heads together”; it’s about wanting to improve not just working methods but also mentalities. No more prejudice or preconceptions: everyone can and must bring their stone to the building.
After the renewal audit in January 2017, ACIMEX now has to implement the 2015 version which introduces the notion of risk management and corporate strategy. The company has already been taking these notions on board for several years now: annual seminars and projects to take us up to 2020 are on a roll, pointing us in the right direction.
